Grace Media Group – NEWS/TALK 101.5 FM, 93.1 FM & WNWS.COM visited with Marc and Leslie Granberry, owners of Roof Rejuvenate of West Tennessee for a Question & Answer session about the benefits of rejuvenating your roof instead of replacing it.
Question: First, a little background information. Would you tell us where you and Marc are originally from, family and education?
Answer: I am a Jackson native, and I graduated from Jackson Central-Merry High School in 1980. In 1984, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Virginia.
Marc is originally from Houston Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M in 1985, where he earned a Master of Science in Land Development in 1987.
We have two grown daughters, and we raised our children in Atlanta before moving to Jackson, Tennessee in 2018.
Question: The company you and Marc own is Roof Rejuvenate of West Tennessee. Is the company a franchise, what motivated you to enter this
line of work, and when did the company open in Jackson?
Answer: We bought the West Tennessee territory in January 2020 and our company – Roof Rejuvenate of West Tennessee – and this is our fourth year in business serving, of course, all of West Tennessee.
It is a dealership – not a franchise.
We are entrepreneurs and saw the need for roof repair and rejuvenation.
Mold and mildew are prevalent on roofs across West Tennessee. We had heard about Greener Shingles rejuvenator and are customer service driven so we decided to bring this product and service to West Tennessee to help homeowners and property managers maintain their roofs and keep money in their pockets.
Question: Would you give us an idea of how a roof on a house is rejuvenated?
Answer: First, let me say that we are licensed, insured and bonded. First, we meet with the potential customer to determine if their roof can be saved and if it qualifies for our treatment.
Then – Our professional roofer will first perform an extensive tune-up. This is a FREE service when someone purchases our Roof Rejuvenate treatment.
The FREE Tune-Up checks all penetrations of the roof. We chalk around chimney flashings, check pipe boot fittings and replace pipe vent boots if needed, nail down any loose shingles, replace any shingles and fix leaks.
We make sure the roof is ready.
We then spray a soybean oil emulsion on the asphalt shingle roof. This process takes anywhere from one-to- three hours – depending on the size of the roof.
The rejuvenator is eco-friendly, safe for plants, pets, and people.
