North Syracuse Central School District has a $61 million capital project vote coming up.
Tuesday night is the public hearing to learn more about the three proposed capital projects for several Cicero-North Syracuse schools They include $32 million for district-wide security enhancements and updates to the junior high bathroom facilities.
An additional $21.2 million is planned for the Gillette Road Middle schools and North Syracuse Early Ed program H-VAC water main and roofing repair needs. A proposed $8 million could be in store for artificial turf for the baseball and multi-purpose outfield and walking trails at Gillette Road Middle School, as well as updates to the parking lots at Gillette Road.
The public hearing will be held at the district offices on Taft Road at 6 p.m. ahead of the vote, which is scheduled for next Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
