Boulder’s East Age Well Center is closed through Sept. 12 for a “critical” roof repair, according to a news release.
There was a planned closure for annual maintenance at the center, located in the East Boulder Community Center at 5660 Sioux Drive, from Aug. 26 to Labor Day. During the closure, staff found an unforeseen problem with the roof that “significantly changed the nature of the repairs,” the release stated.
The East Age Well Center is scheduled to reopen on Sept. 13. However, the side of the EBCC operated by Parks and Recreation is still set to reopen on Tuesdayafter routine maintenance is finished.
