WEST CHESTER, PA —Two men posing as contractors are in Chester County Prison Wednesday after a West Chester homeowner reported that she was sexually assaulted by one of the men, police said.
West Chester police said a female homeowner reported last week that she was sexually assaulted by one of three men who were soliciting door-to-door for home repairs in the borough last week.
The victim reported one of the males identified himself as “Jimmy” who claimed he was a contractor and began discussing home repairs including roofs, brick, and siding.
Two suspects were arrested last week, and a third remains on the run.

Both suspects are not residents of the United States, according to West Chester police.
They were arraigned last week before District Justice Marc J. Lieberman in West Chester, who set bail at $50,000 each.
The suspects were wearing lanterns around their necks with three-by-five advertisement cards that displayed the business, Everest Roofing & Masonry along with a phone number of 484-475-1446.
A subsequent investigation disclosed that the business did not exist, according to Dave March, West Chester police spokesman.
