Premium Roofing Repairs Local Resident’s Leaky Roof for Free Amid His Health Struggles
In a display of community spirit and empathy, a local roofing company, Premium Roofing, decided to make a difference in the life of a local resident, Brad Siluk, who has been dealing with severe health issues and was off work for over two years. The company, located in KLO, Kelowna, offered a generous gesture by repairing Siluk’s leaky roof, a job worth about $2,000, free of charge.
Leaky Roof and a Hopeful Call
Brad Siluk faced a pressing issue when his roof started leaking during a recent rainstorm. In a bid to find a solution, he reached out to Premium Roofing, a company that had previously worked on his neighbor’s roof. Siluk’s health issues, including a faulty atrial valve, had already put him in a financial crunch. The leaky roof was another problem adding to his woes.
Generosity in the Face of Adversity
Moved by Siluk’s plight, Premium Roofing decided to step in and repair his roof for free. Raylene Lachowsky, the sales manager of Premium Roofing, mentioned that their decision was rooted in the company’s desire to support Siluk. They wanted him to focus on his recovery instead of worrying about additional bills. The repair work, which involved the application of torch-on patches, was completed in a single day.
Community Support and a GoFundMe Initiative
Recognizing the financial difficulties many are experiencing, Premium Roofing is also offering free roof inspections to other potential clients. In addition to this, a GoFundMe campaign has been set up to further assist Siluk with his financial needs. This collective effort underscores the importance of community support and the difference it can make in times of hardship. Siluk is hopeful of returning to work in a limited capacity soon.
